CrossFirst Bank, a subsidiary of First Busey Corporation (“Busey”) (NASDAQ: BUSE), is pleased to announce the opening of its second Oklahoma City location in the Tower at Convergence, 308 NE 9th Street, Suite 400, in the heart of the new Innovation District. The new location is scheduled to open on April 7, with a ribbon cutting scheduled for April 29.
Under the leadership of Amy Bailey, Oklahoma City Market President, this expansion marks a significant investment in the local community. Drawing on her expertise, Bailey is assembling a team of experienced bankers dedicated to delivering an extraordinary experience to businesses, professionals, individuals, and their families.
“This expansion is a direct reflection of the investment CrossFirst and Busey are making in Oklahoma City,” Bailey said. “In addition to the ability to conveniently serve our customers where they live and work, the expanded solutions available to our clients and the increased dedication to the community as a result of our partnership with Busey creates numerous opportunities for businesses and residents alike.”
Steve Peterson, Midwest Regional President at CrossFirst Bank, added, “Our commitment to this new location, in the heart of the Innovation District, gives customers more access to our expert bankers and the new, expanded services we can offer through our partnership with Busey.”
First Busey Corporation completed its acquisition by merger of CrossFirst Bankshares, Inc., the holding company for CrossFirst Bank, on March 1, 2025. CrossFirst Bank is operating as a separate banking subsidiary of Busey until it is merged with Busey Bank, which is expected to occur in June 2025. At the time of bank merger, CrossFirst Bank’s locations will become branches of Busey Bank, operating under the Busey brand, creating a premier full-service commercial bank serving clients from 78 locations across 10 states.
